BSF MEGHALAYA OBSERVES WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY

 On 14 June 2023, 193 Battalion under BSF Meghalaya observed World Blood Donor Day 2023 at its headquarters Mawpat, Shillong in collaboration with NEIGRIHMS Hospital. 

Participating in such a noble cause, approx. 150 personnel of Border Security Force took it as an honour to serve the nation by donating blood. The same event was also conducted by 181 Bn BSF in association with civil Hospital at BSF camp Tura. 

Sh. Pradip Kumar, IPS, IG BSF Meghalaya said “BSF is nowhere behind in making significant contribution towards the society. This act can save a precious human life in need”. He also expressed his gratitude to the doctors/staff and troops present on the occasion.
