BSF SWARN JAYANTI SHAURYA PRADDARSHANI YATRA TO COMMEMORATE 50TH YEARS OF BANGALADESH LIBERATION WAR-1971

In the context of 50th years of Bangladesh liberation war 1971, India’s victory over Pakistan and unforgettable contribution of BSF in the victory, the Swarn Jayanti Shaurya Pradarshani Yatra having Mobile Photo Exhibition on six vehicles was flagged off from BSF South Bengal Frontier Headquarter Kolkata by Sh Y B Khurania, IPS, ADG (EC) and Mr.Toufique Hasan Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner at Kolkata.

 

                The Yatra was started on 03rd Dec’ 2021 from kolkata BSF HQ covering 1,400- km up to Shillong to commemorate Golden Jubilee of the Bangladesh LiberatioWar. The Main motto of this Yatra is to inculcate spirit of patriotism in youths and also to spread awareness about the contribution of BSF & Mukti Bahini in 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War.

 

The yatra will arrive at BOP Dawki on 22 Dec 21 and after paving its way through bordering district of East Khasi Hills will move to Cherapunji on 23 Dec 21, and further disposal at BSF Camp Mawpat Shillong on 24 dec 21. 

              

 

             The Closing ceremony of said Mobile Photo Exhibition will be organized at BSF camp Mawpat Shillong  on 24 Dec 2021.During the programme Documentaries, Videos Photographs of Bangladesh Liberation War 1971 highlighting BSF and Mukti Bahini role in Bangladesh liberation War will be screened in the presence of Sh. Y.B. Khuraniya IPS, ADG (EC) BSF, Kolkata as the Chief Guest. Moreover, musical programmwill also be performeby BSF Brass & Jazz Band.

 

 The said Mobile Photo Exhibition will be opened for all the people of Meghalaya State at 10:30 hrs on 24 Dec 2021. All are requested to attend the above event at BSF camp Mawpat, Shillong and make thprogramme grand success.
