Shillong, October 26, 2021: The Government of Meghalaya has declared 30^th October, 2021 as paid holiday under the N.I. Act, 1881 to all public/private commercial and industrial enterprises etc. (including Shop & Factories) falling under the 13-Mawryngkneng (ST), 24-Mawphlang (ST) Assembly Constituency in East Khasi Hills District and 47-Rajabala Assembly Constituency in West Garo Hills District being the actual date of polling to the Bye-Election to the aforesaid Constituencies to enable the voters to exercise their franchise.

This was informed by the Principal Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Labour Department. (MIPR)
