In continuation to the Order No. POl,/2020tPtllll6 dated 3'd January 2022,

the following activities are permitted in the State of Meghalaya:

l. Officials and staff of the Government of Meghalaya working in the Civil Secretariat and

Directorates may apply for pass for their private vehicles from their respective heads of

departments. The heads of departments may provide the list of such passes issued to the

Deputy Commissioner concerned.

2. Officials and staff of the Office of the Deputy Commissioners and district level offices

may apply for pass for their private vehicles from the Deputy Commissioners concerned.

3. Officials and staff of Central Government Offices and Banks may apply for pass for their

private vehicles from their respective heads of departments. The heads of departments may

provide the list of such passes issued to the Deputy Commissioner concerned.

The passes to be issued by their respective heads may carry the name, designation and

the office of the concerned staff along with the n€rne, designation and the official seal of the

issuing authority. Further, it is advised that the passes may be issued on a weekly basis and for

a time period between 9:00AM to 8:00PM. Passes may only be used for official

purpose.
