BSF APPREHENDED PERSON WITH YABA IN WEST GARO HILLS

 In its commitment towards making the region narcotics free, on 24^th Jan 2022, troops of 100 Bn BSF, acting  on specific tip off, held a person with  210 nos of Yaba tablets. Apprehended person revealed his identity as Urup Miah, (21 yrs), S/o Sohidul Islam, R/o Kakripara, PS- Mankachar, Dist- South Salmara, Assam.

The consignment was planned to hand over to unknown person at Purakhasia market, but carrier got apprehended before completing his task. Purakhasia falls under the area of responsibility of 100 Bn BSF.

 Urup Miah disclosed that he works just as a carrier on the directions of Md Saiful of village Kakripara, PS- Mancachar, Dist- South Salmara, Assam. The apprehended person along with seized items handed over to PS- Purakhasia, West Garo Hills district for further disposal.
