FIR lodged against a youth at Jhalupara police station for posting objectionable photo of Prime Minister on Facebook


 A case of posting an objectionable photo of the Prime Minister on Facebook has come to light in Jhalupara area of Shillong. Meghalaya BJP worker Pawan Sharma had given a complaint to the police. Taking the matter seriously, the police have registered an FIR.Police has started searching for the accused.

Gaurav Kumar son Papu Singh Gopal Compound, a resident of Jalupara, Shillong, posted a wrong photo of the country's Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on social media in an objectionable form, for which the local Pawan Sharma filed a report in the police station and took strict action. Seeing such objectionable post, many more people said that action should be taken against such person.

Meghalaya BJP worker Pawan Sharma said that Gaurav Kumar son Papu Singh, a resident of Jalupara, Shillong, had posted an objectionable photo against Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his Facebook ID. This hurt the sentiments of the people. In view of this, the Jalupara police station registered an FIR against Gaurav Kumar on Saturday. The accused has not been caught in this case yet. Police is looking for him.
